Suitable for two Bordeaux, Burgundy or Champagne bottles.
There are four basic shapes for all wine bottles: Bordeaux ( Vernaccia, Salento Rose, Chateau d'Yquem...), Burgundy ( Chablis, Montrachet, Cortese dei Gavi...), Rhine ( Tocai, Riesling, Gewurtztraminer, Johannisberg...), and Champagne. To contain & cool these different shapes up to the neck, Gozzi's research came up with two different coolers, which both demonstrate his very close attention to particular use. The body is of different thicknesses: thicker at the bottom & on the edge to avoid dents. The handles have been studied ( together with the edges, which are fully lined) to ensure a perfect grip with a single hand; it holds two bottles; its depth means the bottles can be immersed right up to the neck; lastly they can be stacked. This cooler is suitable for two Bordeaux or two Burgundy or two Champagne bottles.
